Personalized virtual sessions focused on strengthening and restoring oral function for better breathing, sleep, swallowing and whole body wellness.

Convenient care designed to meet you where you are, at home or wherever life and WI-FI take you.  Support designed to help you breath, function and feel your best.

What Is Myofunctional Therapy?

Myofunctional therapy is traditionally defined as a program of exercises that retrains the muscles of the face, tongue, and mouth to support optimal breathing, swallowing, and oral function.

At Miller MyoMovement, it is more than exercises. It is a personalized, airway-centered approach to restoring how the body intended to breathe, swallow, rests, and function. Therapy begins with education, awareness, safety, self regulation and identifying the root cause of disfunction.

A personalized plan is thoughtfully designed by anchoring simple awareness, self regulation and exercises into everyday routines to making it easier to stay consistent and achieve lasting results.

Meet Teri Francois, RDH, OMT

With more than 30 years of experience as a dental hygienist, I came to understand that oral health reaches far beyond the basics of brushing and flossing.

After beginning my training in myofunctional therapy in 2020 and becoming the first IAOMT Certified Biological Dental Hygienist in Louisiana in 2023, my focus shifted toward airway health, breathing, and oral function.

I began recognizing overlooked signs associated with airway dysfunction and sleep disordered breathing, including mouth breathing, poor oral rest posture, self regulation and compensation patterns.

That awareness changed the way I viewed patient care and ultimately led me to found Miller MyoMov, a personalized, airway centered approach designed to help patients breathe better, sleep better, and function at a higher level of health.

Because when breathing improves, everything else can begin to change.

Therapy helps people navigate through life.
