Questions We Hear Often
That is completely understandable. A 15-minute Consultation Call with Miller MyoMov is a simple, supportive first step to share your concerns, ask questions, and get a clearer sense of whether this approach is right for you or your child.
At Miller MyoMov, care goes beyond exercises alone. It begins with listening, awareness, and a deeper look at the patterns behind the concerns you are noticing. From there, support is personalized to help create meaningful, lasting change in breathing, function, and overall wellness.
No two clients begin in the same place. Miller MyoMov takes an individualized approach based on the patterns, concerns, and goals unique to each person, so support feels thoughtful, practical, and aligned with real life.
At Miller MyoMov, we know the body often adapts around unresolved patterns in breathing, oral posture, swallowing, and tension. Early support can bring greater awareness, reduce compensation patterns, and help build a stronger foundation for lasting function and wellness.
Your care is personalized and designed to fit real life. Virtual sessions may include education, observation, guided exercises, breathing and posture support, habit retraining, and practical strategies you can use at home between visits.
The length of care can vary depending on age, goals, consistency, and the patterns involved. Some clients need short-term support and guidance, while others benefit from a longer process. During your Clarity Call and early sessions, Miller MyoMov helps outline what care may look like for your specific needs.
Not necessarily. Some clients begin by simply wanting a better understanding of their patterns and whether additional support may be needed. Miller MyoMov begins with awareness, function, and the concerns you are experiencing, then helps guide the next step if referrals are needed.
You will need a computer or tablet, a reliable internet connection, and a quiet, comfortable place where you can focus. A myofunctional tool kit will also be provided to support your work throughout the program.
Yes. Relapse after orthodontic treatment is common, especially when the patterns behind breathing, tongue posture, swallowing, and oral muscle function have not changed. Research shows that lower front teeth often crowd again over time, and about half of relapse may happen within the first two years after retention. Miller MyoMov looks beyond alignment alone to support the functional patterns that help orthodontic results hold more successfully over time.
In some cases, yes. Miller MyoMov values a collaborative approach, because breathing, function, sleep, and structural concerns are often connected. When helpful, care may include coordination with other providers so support feels more complete, informed, and personalized.
